Some of these projects are under test within Faredo sarl, others outside.

General Manager after the acquisition of this company (manufacture and sales of preforms for plastic bottles) by the Tetra Pak Group. Temporary assignment for the reorganization of the company, increase of production capacity and selection of a new management team.
 

09/1993 – 04/1997 – Hitek FSP S.A., France

Appointment General Manager of the company (extrusion and thermoforming technologies, plastic sheet and containers) after its acquisition by the Tetra Pak Group. Cleaning up of its financial, cultural and management problems, development of new products for customers in France, Germany and United States.
 

02/1993 – 12/1993 –Tetra Pak APS GmbH, Germany

Manager « Converting » within the Plastic Division of the Tetra Pak. Responsible worldwide for the implementation strategy of manufacturing facilities for plastic containers.

Project Analysis Manager”. Feasibility studies and financial projections related to acquisitions of companies worldwide, build-up of new plants and continuation of large development projects.

Integration of Materials Development, Manufacturing Technologies, Package and Mold Design into a single Department, resulting in halving the lead-times. Development of new products and new markets.
 

07/1986 – 08/1987 – Technical Advisor

Review of the manufacturing capabilities and capacities. Interim management functions in production and then in Sales and Marketing. Preparation of a development plan.
 

 

1979 to 1986 : SWISS FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, SWITZERLAND.

Assistant Lecturer. Lectures on use of polymers in microtechnical applications. Research projects with the industry. Responsibility for lab facilities. Half-time work, in parallel with the preparation of a PhD thesis.
